Primary Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Safety Administrator to support a leading company in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fostering a safe workplace. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with EHS Director and Operations to develop, prepare, and implement safety and security policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of company environmental, health, and safety (EHS) documentation.
- Prepare communications, data, and trend reports for facility safety programs.
- Perform administrative duties associated with EHS data management systems.
- Recommend improvements to safety management programs, including emergency preparedness, accident prevention, and general safety practices.
- Identify opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health risks.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, and codes.
- Conduct training sessions on safety protocols and emergency preparedness.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of safety administration or related experience, preferably in manufacturing, recycling, or warehouse environments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, OneDrive, Teams).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to conduct training sessions.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and emergency preparedness.
- Valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Entry-level training or certification in safety and security preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Ability to prioritize high-priority tasks and maintain confidentiality.
Pay
- Pay ranges from $55,000 to $65,000, depending on experience and other qualification factors.
