This is a key role within a large, well-established organization, offering an exciting opportunity to lead sourcing strategies, drive supplier performance, and optimize procurement processes. The Senior Indirect Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for high-value contract negotiations, supplier management, and continuous improvement initiatives that will make a direct impact on the company’s success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize supplier relationships and improve cost efficiency.
- Manage contract negotiations across multiple categories, including professional services and industrial equipment.
- Use Coupa, SAP, Power BI, and SQL to analyze spend, improve reporting, and streamline procurement workflows.
- Collaborate with legal teams and internal stakeholders to mitigate risk and ensure contract compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to boost sourcing efficiency and supplier performance.
- Oversee multi-million-dollar supplier contracts, ensuring performance targets and cost-saving goals are met.
- Provide actionable insights into procurement spend and sourcing strategies to senior leadership.
- Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and best practices to enhance sourcing strategies.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, ideally within energy, utilities, or industrial sectors.
- Proven success in supplier negotiations, cost-saving initiatives, and executing sourcing strategies.
- Strong proficiency in analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Oracle, and Coupa.
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar supplier contracts and fostering strong supplier relationships.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Information Technology; Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) preferred.
- Expertise in contract lifecycle management (CLM), procurement automation, and spend analysis.
- Knowledge of sustainable procurement, energy-efficient sourcing, and environmental compliance.
- Familiarity with corporate procurement processes, vendor risk management, and regulatory requirements.
