About the Role
Primary Services is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support a client's Treasury team in Houston, TX. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth execution of core treasury operations, compliance with financing agreements, and support for financial reporting. The Treasury Analyst will collaborate with internal teams across Capital Markets, Accounting, Legal, Construction, and Development to facilitate the operation and expansion of renewable energy projects. In addition, this position will play a critical support role in the ongoing SAP S4/HANA implementation, providing project-related services such as data validation, system testing, and coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Review credit agreements and ensure compliance with financing terms and indentures.
- Prepare and submit payment certificates (withdrawals, transfers, distributions) to banks for processing dividends and other disbursements.
- Reconcile debt service payments with bank invoices and internal systems, including floating rate verifications.
- Maintain up-to-date debt and cash records in the Treasury Management System (TMS).
- Serve as a liaison with lenders and cross-functional teams to address inquiries and deliver required documentation.
- Assist in preparing internal and external treasury reports.
- Identify and propose opportunities for automation and process improvement within Treasury Operations.
- Support the transition to a new ERP and TMS by participating in data mapping, testing, and integration support.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in Corporate Treasury, Treasury Operations, or Capital Markets.
- Hands-on experience with SAP (preferably in transition from ECC to S4/HANA) and Treasury Management Workstations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and a focus on process optimization.
Preferred:
- Experience with new system/process implementations.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or interest in pursuing certification.
