Bioprocess Technician

Primary Talent Partners has a 6-month contract opening for a Bio Process Associate to join a multinational pharmaceutical company for an onsite position located in East Syracuse, NY.

Pay: $20 to $21.50/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Type: W2 contract, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship
Shift: 12 hour day shift, 6 am - 6 pm, rotating schedule (36 hours one week, 48 the next) Must be willing to work scheduled holidays, weekends, and overtime.

Description:

We are seeking an entry-level Biologics Manufacturing Associate to join our team. This is not a lab position but an opportunity to work in a biologics manufacturing environment that requires strict adherence to cleanroom hygiene, gowning protocols, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). You will receive comprehensive training to develop proficiency in assigned functional areas.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and clean process equipment, including handling valves, hoses, clamps, and piping.
• Prepare buffers, media, and reagents up to 2000L.
• Monitor process parameters and escalate abnormal conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Sustain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Achieve and maintain proficiency in job functions through training.
• Perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, climbing, or reaching, with occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Handle and work with hazardous materials, including caustic, acid, and steam.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow written instructions, verify data, perform basic math calculations, and accurately document results.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with common computer applications.
• A continuous improvement mindset, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to excellence in biologics manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with general chemistry, microbiology, or clean room operations.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Experience with cGMP operations or aseptic techniques.
