Finance Project Manager

Primary Talent Partners has a Temp W2 contract for a Project Manager with our great client.

Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder - No C2C/No Sponsorship.

• Pay: $60-70/hr
• Location: REMOTE
• Assignment Length: W2 contract through 08/2025, possible extension based on performance, needs/budget of team, etc.

The Job Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and tracking of the transition to a new Business Process Outsourced partner as well as insourcing to an offshore center of excellence. Finance & Accounting; BPO transition; Finance Transformation as an internal Project Manager that will manage on behalf of the transition to a new partner. This role will partner with key stakeholders to provide leadership in delivering the transition on time and expected quality while mitigating project risks. Facilitates delivery of a project or projects by ensuring the team drives commitments to completion on time and with quality. Create project plans that may span multiple teams. Manage dependencies within the project. Recommend and implement a governance model to ensure a successful delivery. Define a RASCI ensuring an appropriate level and skill of resources are assigned. If necessary, recommend and work with sponsor to hire additional resources (e.g. back-up for resources, project and/or change management resources). Support the contract negotiation with the new partner to mitigate any risks on schedule or quality of the delivery. Partner with business to ensure that the SLA's with new partners align to industry standards for each process. Own and manage communication and change management plan for projects. Ensure transparency and buy in on key decisions via decision log. Proactively removes impediments to ensure successful delivery of team commitments. Drives issue resolution and risk mitigation. Leads assigned project resources.

Must haves for this role:

• - Previous experience within depth knowledge of Business Process Outsourcing and transition of services
• - At least 5-7 years' experience demonstrated managing a project timeline, resources, and scope to meet business requirements
• -Self-motivated and well organized; able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
• - Proficient with Smartsheet and MS Project preferred
• -Able to demonstrate skills in leadership, negotiation, conflict management, collaboration, organizational and critical thinking.
• - Excellent English Communications skills written and verbal with incumbent vendor, new vendor and stakeholders and team members
• -People Influencer and deadline driven
• - Need to be able to call out issues or concerns to team members for assistance

Plus:

• - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
