What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at Primary Talent Partners?
Primary Talent Partners has a new Scientist opening with a large pharmaceutical manufacturing client of ours in the West Sacramento, CA area. This will be a 6 month, FT contract opening.
Pay: $28/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Schedule: M to F, 6am - 2:30pm
Description:
This Lab Technician will perform a variety of assignments within a Pilot Production environment. These assignments mainly include but are not limited to operating a pH meter, making precise measurements, following precise instructions, keeping the lab area clean and assisting with organizing lab supplies. The Technician will be required to follow Company, Site and Department procedures. This individual will be required to accurately record information within documentation while maintaining strict adherence to FDA, GMP and ISO requirements. The incumbent will perform daily housekeeping of the production areas and equipment as required. The Production Technician will be required to maintain up to date training records, support training of new employees and comply with all company policies and procedures. Teamwork, attendance and an ability to adapt to change are critical for this position.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Create batch records and specifications according to the requirements provided by internal customers
• Maintain strict adherence to compliance, safety standards and standard work instructions.
• Responsible to ensure you have the appropriate skill, knowledge and training to perform the tasks you are assigned.
• You will have the authority to stop the production line and advise the appropriate individual for any concerns involving Safety, Quality or Production issues.
• Support and maintain 5S activities in manufacturing areas.
The essential requirements of the job include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering with 0 years of experience
• Experience with general lab equipment such as pH meters and balances
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and problem-solving skills
