What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician position at Primary Talent Partners?

Primary Talent Partners has a 6 month contract opening for a Lab Tech to join a multinational life sciences company for an onsite position operating out of Florence, KY.

Pay: $22.00/hr
Contract: 6 months, extensions likely, conversion possible
Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship
Shift: 7:30am - 4pm Mon - Fri / 6:30am - 3pm Mon - Fri while training

Responsibilities:

Perform assessment testing as scheduled on in-process and/or finished device products according to all quality documentation.
Evaluate test results for compliance to specification. Recognize problems that might affect the quality of integrity of the product and communicate problems.
Perform calibration and routine daily/weekly instrument maintenance to ensure accuracy of results.
Work with the team to help identify Lean manufacturing opportunities for continuous process improvement and suggest alternatives and solutions to problems.

Qualifications:

College degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required
Basic understanding of Statistical analysis is needed
Experience working in a diagnostic medical lab is preferred.
2-3 years’ experience in a lab setting is preferred.
Open to learning Lean Manufacturing or DBS tools
Must work well with others and understand how to be successful in team environment.
