Primary Talent Partners has a new 10 month contract Network Construction Manager opening with a telecommunications client operating out of Charlotte, NC. Potential for contract renewal or direct-hire opportunities are dependent upon performance and company budget.
Pay: $37 - $44/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Schedule: Mon - Fri standard business hours; 40-hour work week
Description: We are seeking a Network Construction Coordinator to support the day-to-day administrative operations of a dynamic and growing fiber Network Construction team in the Charlotte, NC area. This individual will play a key role in facilitating smooth project execution by managing purchase orders, coordinating splicing activities, reviewing engineering packages, and ensuring accurate billing processes.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll be joining a team that values consistency, open communication, and delivering high-quality outcomes across network construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit purchase orders and process contractor invoices for fiber splicing activities.
- Support project financials and milestone tracking, including forecasting, PO issuance and receiving, invoicing, and overdue invoice resolution.
- Review and distribute splice packages from Fiber Engineering.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding splicing work and billing matters.
- Track project deliverables, deadlines, and provide timely reports highlighting any variances.
- Monitor and support key KPIs including OpEx spend, MTTR, % On-Time Install, and fiber completion for small cell and enterprise installations.
- Order police details for splicing activity where required.
- Assist with service delivery close-out packages for small cell projects.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and escalate issues before reaching critical status.
- Provide ad hoc administrative and reporting support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in network construction or telecom project coordination is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with purchase order systems, invoice processing, and financial tracking.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams and vendors.
- Understanding of fiber splicing and service delivery processes is a plus.
