What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Engineer position at Primary Talent Partners?
Primary Talent Partners has a 6 month contract opening for an Engineer II to join a multinational pharmaceutical company for a hybrid position operating out of West Point, PA.
Pay : $39.00 / hr - $44.00 / hr
Contract : 6 months, extensions likely, conversion possible
Type : W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship
Hybrid : Onsite fully during training, then transitions to 3 days onsite / 2 days remote.
Responsibilities :
- The successful candidate will focus on package development for delivery of traditional pharmaceuticals (oral solid dosage & sterile products) as well as provide input to primary and secondary packaging definition, and package systems qualifications.
- Provide input regarding selection of primary and secondary packaging material.
- Determination of package images to support commercialization as well as leading the execution of distribution qualification efforts regarding testing robustness of packages.
- The successful candidate will author packaging specifications for primary, secondary and tertiary packaging as well as provide information to support relevant sections of NDA's, WMA's, and JNDA's.
- The successful candidate will also interface with packaging component suppliers, our Global Packaging Technology Operations, our Packaging Site Operations, as well as Contract Manufacturing Operations while fulfilling their responsibilities.
