Pay: $50.00-54.00/hr based on experience and academia
W2 Contract: 12 months, extensions likely, conversion possible
Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship
Location: Prefers St.Pete, FL area, open to Charlotte, NC
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing applications through unit, defect, functional and regression testing, as well as user acceptance testing (UAT).
The candidate should be proficient in using test management tools like Client Quality Center/ALM and Tricentis qTest. Experience in the utility industry, particularly in electric transmission and distribution with domain understanding of terminology and grid devices, or testing work management systems, is highly desirable. Other preferred qualifications include excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively and strong problem-solving skills.

Description:
- • Review requirements and identify areas to be tested.
- • Develop test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- • Define, collect, and document data for testing.
- • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
- • Identify, log and review defects.
- • Maintain and retire test cases and test scripts at the end of the work effort.
- • Maintain traceability between test cases/scripts and requirements.
- • Help troubleshoot issues and conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
- • Ensure that all testing results are easily accessible.
- • Ensure that the team follows the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing approach.
- • Review test, validation, and pilot results with Test Lead to ensure that they meet the entry and exit criteria.
- • Create framework components and reusable functions for automation and performance testing.
- • Build user documents and script maintenance instructions for automation and performance testing scripts.
- • 5-10 years of experience
