Primary Talent Partners has a new 12-month contract for a Technical Writer with our great client in O'Fallon, MO
Pay: $40.00 - $47.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Summary
Content Strategy and Development (CS&D) provides the technical and operational information that customers and stakeholders need to do business with ***. CS&D is committed to driving the business goals of *** by maximizing the impact of content. We foster solutions to provide the right content, to the right stakeholders, in the right format, at the right time. We accomplish this goal by collaborating with business partners to understand customer needs and deliver timely, high-quality information in a wide range of media and languages.
Overview
This role involves creating and delivering technical content and publications about *** products and services for our customers. It includes performing all stages of the publishing process for online, mobile, and printed formats, as well as researching, evaluating, selecting, and implementing new enterprise-wide processes and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and multiple business/product owners to create and update technical content.

Ensure content updates align with company writing standards.

Manage day-to-day writing and publishing tasks to deliver content across web and mobile platforms.

Provide excellent customer service to business partners and customers.

Author content in XML or Markdown, tools used for content creation and editing.

Utilize screen capture and graphic tools to enhance documentation with visuals.

Publish technical content to multiple platforms and output formats, including PDF, HTML, and Wiki.
Qualifications & Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Basic understanding of DITA/XML, HTML, and PDF (a plus).

Certification in a technical writing course (a plus).
