Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to support patient service in the outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize aseptic technique to ensure the safe preparation of sterile products.
- Provide excellent patient care by addressing inquiries and offering medication-related information.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards of practice.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills related to pharmacy operations.
Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service and teamwork.
