This position is a current need for our High School students, hiring THIS school year. This position will be located in our Chandler, AZ office. Members of the team are committed to student success through our rigorous and relevant curriculum, supporting staff, and interactive technology.If you are bright and highly motivated, why wait to join our team?Here's what to expect : Develop and monitor student ECAPReview and monitor student progress towards graduationProvide students with organization, study, and testing skillsProvide support and interventions for academically at-risk studentsDevelop scholarship and college admissions resources for studentsSupport student decision making skills to develop life-long learnersActively participate in Student Study Teams, 504, and IEP processParticipate in crisis interventions involving individual students, families, and schoolRefer students / parents to community agencies, programs, or specialists as appropriateDevelop referral resources for students, parents, and staffOther duties as required to meet the needs of studentsThe Successful Candidate possesses : A current Arizona Guidance Counselor certificate3 years of full-time experience as a High School Guidance CounselorHigh level of comfort with Microsoft applications and the latest technologiesOnline experience preferredCurrent Arizona Fingerprint Clearance CardBilingual in Spanish highly preferredWe offer a competitive salary, paid health benefits for the employee, 401k and a strong collaborative culture.Salary for school counselors is $55,000 annually, excluding Prop 301 funding.
