Primavera is seeking a dynamic individual to join our innovative team as a full-time Team Teacher.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Collaborate with an instructional team of teachers and tutors to determine, design, and deliver academic support for students and ensure that all students are successfully progressing through the program, that parents have a primary point of contact, and that team tasks are appropriately distributed among team teachers
- Organize and disseminate data to assign small groups of students in need of additional support & coordinate with director and manager of tutoring program to assign tutors to small groups
- Monitor student progress towards required performance outcomes and communicate progress to various stakeholders.
- Perform administrative tasks for day-to-day management including tracking student grades, managing schedules and meetings, and conferring with the school, while scheduling and monitoring student course progress
- Facilitate weekly instructional team collaborations to evaluate student work and data to drive instruction: organizing and maintaining data from benchmarks, state assessments, formative and summative assessments to glean insight into how well students are understanding and mastering the material and adjust instruction, support, and intervention accordingly
- Attend synchronous sessions to provide instructional and technological support for the synchronous teacher
- Create a safe, respectful and inclusive virtual classroom environment
- Grade and provide developmental feedback
- Collaborate with peers to enhance the student learning experience by participating in professional learning and weekly meetings with instructional/grade level and/or content area team collaborative teams
- Establish rapport with students and their families while expressing the importance of consistent attendance and engagement to meet learning objectives
- Assist with administering standardized assessments locally and within the state of Arizona
- Attend all school sponsored activities
- Additional duties as needed

Job Specific Skills/Abilities:
- Must be computer proficient in order to focus on student learning rather than the tools of instruction
- Must have knowledge of Office, Google Products, Canvas Learning Management System, and internet-based applications
- Maintain knowledge of research, developments, and best practices in secondary education and digital learning environments
- Displays excellent digital skills and the ability to facilitate learning and community within a digital environment
- Ability to look at data analytically, showing excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills as it relates to continuous improvement for professional and personal growth
- Demonstrate a proven track record of success improving student outcomes
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Arizona 6-12 Teachers Certification Required
- Highly qualified in Senior Level Math
- Current valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Teaching experience at the secondary education level preferred
- Leadership experience preferred
- Experience in online education preferred
- Must be able to work onsite in Chandler, AZ or Rexburg, ID
