We are looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team! As a Finance Operations Analyst, you will support both the Finance and Business Operations of the Company. While networking with both our Consultants in the Field as well as the members of the Prime 8 Headquarter and Client Sales Management team, you will help ensure our core processes for Business Desk, Client Invoicing and Project Accounting are accurate, efficient and compliant.

Business Desk
We are looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team! As a Finance Operations Analyst, you will support both the Finance and Business Operations of the Company. While networking with both our Consultants in the Field as well as the members of the Prime 8 Headquarter and Client Sales Management team, you will help ensure our core processes for Business Desk, Client Invoicing and Project Accounting are accurate, efficient and compliant.
Responsibilities
Business Desk
- Maintain master database of Statements of Work (SOW’s) submitted to Clients, monitoring status with Client and communicating updates to Customer Success Managers
- Maintain list of existing Client Project and associated Consultant End dates, to keep Customer Success Managers (CSM) apprised and prompting any required actions
- Upon Project completions, send email communications with survey to Client Project Contacts
- Maintain and keep updated report on all Consultant Client provided email aliases, and when the Client security privileges are due to expire.
- Ownership of new Project Set up and update in the Prime 8 core Financial Application (Sage/Intacct). Responsible for maintaining proper Project budgets by Consultant within Intacct, and reporting on monthly budgets by Project used for weekly forecast updates
- Daily refresh of Intacct report on current month Project Hours by Consultant and Project Revenue vs. Budget. Follow-up as necessary with CSM on any unusual variances
- Weekly follow-up email to Consultants who are missing timesheet to ensure all hours are accounted for in our Client Invoicing and Payroll purposes
- Full responsibility for American Express (AMEX) transaction accounting and upload to Intacct
- Monthly update of Year to Date (YTD) Intacct Project Revenue reports, and ensuring accuracy with other Prime 8 Reporting sources
- Update and review of Intacct Gross Margin reports maintained by Customer Class, Project and Consultant. Investigate any unusual variances and provide insight to Director of Finance
- Maintain Prime 8 Department Headcount report, including tracking on monthly activity and calculating associated People KPI’s
- BA/BS Degree, preferably in Business/Finance
- Previous Business work experience in Finance, Accounting or Operations a plus.
- High sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player that can work independently as well.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks at once, maintaining focus and drive to completion and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated knowledge and comfort with technology and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, messengering systems, video conferencing and any other business-related tools.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and demonstrated experience in presentation to larger audience.
