Position Overview :
The primary focus of this role will be to provide assist in managing, monitoring, and inspecting infrastructure construction projects, leading to a Construction Manager role within JTL
Primary Responsibilities :
- Read and understand engineering construction contracts, plans and specifications.
- Perform earthwork, concrete, structural, mechanical, process drainage, asphalt, water, sewer, utility, and materials inspections on construction projects.
- Support project activities by performing calculations, measurements, documentation, and other technical and engineering-related functions.
- Review and coordinate verification or acceptance testing of construction materials in the field or at the laboratory.
- Coordinate construction management and inspection services provided by project subconsultants.
- Prepare, organize, lead and document construction meetings with the contractors and client.
- Correspond with project staff and clients.
- Manage and assist with Construction progress payment, RFI and submittal reviews.
- Organize, conduct and document construction coordination meetings.
- Assist with managing and tracking construction documents and submittals.
- Experience with electronic and Web-based construction documentation systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
