Position Overview :
The primary focus of this role will be to perform highway engineering design for our diverse clientele supporting KYTC and FDOT projects.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Design various types of highway, bridge and traffic projects, including urban and rural roadways, interstates, interchanges, traffic management, transportation planning, highway safety, site planning, preparation of concept alignments, geometric layout, MOT, Drainage and ADA compliance projects.
- Work with the design team comprised of Project Managers, Senior Engineers, and other technical staff to develop engineered solutions for various clients.
- Work on design for a variety of roadway projects including interchanges, intersection improvements, roadway widening / capacity improvements, ADA, and pedestrian safety upgrades.
- Utilize CAD design software such as ORD and Civil 3D for design and plan production.
- Perform field visits for ongoing design projects.
