The Company: Prime Auto USA is an independent used car dealership located in Jackson, TN with a full sales team, finance team, client success team and service team with a total of just under 50 employees and selling just under 100 cars per month. We provide automotive reconditioning to cars that are being prepared to sell including an 80 point inspection as well as on-going repairs for our free 6 month 6,000 mile limited warranty and customer pay work. Overview:

As thePorter you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall condition of the inside of the dealership and of our outside lot that houses vehicles. This position involves a combination of physical duties that will consist of various tasks and errands for the whole dealership. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle various tasks related to the upkeep of our vehicle inventory. You will play an extremely important role in customer satisfaction and the overall continued success of our company.

A Porter must be proficient in the following areas of responsibilities:

· Keep the building and grounds presentable by ensuring that they are clean and organized in a manner that will always allow efficient levels of production.

· Monitor and manage all areas of sublets including send and pickup.

· Build and maintain a professional relationship with all Team Members.

· Quickly and efficiently complete resource and parts pick-ups and drop-offs.

· Assist the technicians in all tasks that will create an efficient work environment including staging vehicles.

· Ensure that all frontline vehicles have a minimum of ¼ tank of fuel.

· Ability to precisely communicate and report to supervisors daily.

· Conduct routine inspections of repossessed vehicles to assess their condition.

· Document any damage or issues discovered during inspections.

· Retrieves vehicles for customers who have paid to redeem them.

· Communicate any significant issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

· Additional duties as assigned.

*Proficiency means capability to properly, accurately and timely complete the task described independently.

Duties: The Porter is responsible to adhere to and demonstrate their ability to be proficient in the above listed requirements for the position for which they are employed.

It is typical for the Porter to complete the following work daily:

· Login to Paychex and Rapid Recon to report time worked and what work is completed.

· Assist with efficient vehicle flow within the business as needed to ensure that all departments continue to be successful.

• Assist by moving customer vehicles to and from the shop and anything else they may need to complete the service visit.

Expected Results:

· The activities listed above are to result in:

· The team achieving a minimum of 1.0 to 1.5 cars produced per technician per day, as an average.

· As a team, ensuring that customers receive their cars back within no more than 7 days or 5 working days.

Ideal Qualifications for Employment:

· Demonstrated abilities utilizing technology the company utilizes accurately, timely and consistently.

· A High School Diploma/GED.

· Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.

· Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

· Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements: This position involves regular physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. The candidate should be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to [50] pounds.

Pay: $16.49 - $17.20 per hour
