Inventory Control Specialist

Job Description
Prime Beverage Group is looking for a team-oriented and passionate Inventory Control Specialist with the ability to carry out assigned responsibilities in accordance with the company policies. The right candidate will take pride in contributing to our
continued growth and expansion initiatives as part of the team. This is a full-time, hourly position that reports to the Inventory Control Manager.
Position Responsibilities
Performs regular physical counts of inventory and reconciles actual counts
to generated reports.
Monitors the placement of finished goods.
Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and location of all inventories.
Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
Conveys materials from storage or production sites to designated area.
Updates database with incoming and outgoing products.
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases.
Inspect forklift and complete P.M. (Preventative Maintenance) Sheet. Must be able to work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
Must be able to operate a forklift safely.
Ingredient kit verification to include weights, batch numbers, and FEFO.
Accurately consume production materials to perspective work order for invoicing in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned.
This is a day shift position with reporting directly to the Inventory Manager.
Position Requirements
Must have one-year related experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Able to meet deadlines.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Have a positive attitude and work well with others.
Some weekend work will be required.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including overtime.
Ability to successfully complete forklift Prime Beverage Group Forklift certification.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Manufacturing experience, a plus
2 years’ experience in inventory control, preferred.
Experience driving a forklift, preferred.
ERP experience, preferred.
