Position Overview
Prime Capital Financial operates a significant and growing business providing insurance solutions to our wealth management client households. The provision of both simple and complex insurance solutions is increasingly being integrated into our broader array of wealth management solutions, including financial planning, investment management, tax and estate planning. The Director of Insurance will lead Prime’s efforts to grow the insurance solutions portion of our business, working closely with the other respective service teams that comprise the broader wealth management solutions set to serve advisors and clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Director of Insurance will have five primary responsibilities. First, advise the advisors on various sophisticated insurance solutions to meet high-net-worth clients' specific tax, estate, and risk management needs. Second, present sophisticated insurance solutions to current and prospective high-net-worth clientele as the expert partner of the advisor. Third, provide general insurance solution recommendations for advisors serving other wealth management clientele. Fourth, oversee and administer the firm’s insurance marketing organization and insurance carrier relationships to ensure adequate breadth of insurance products and carrier financial strength. Fifth, manage policy review and policy execution team.
Personal Competencies & Attributes
● Minimum of 10 years experience in the insurance industry with detailed knowledge of life insurance, annuities, long-term care, and disability policies.
● Strong understanding of insurance industry participants, including carriers, IMOs, and policy financing institutions
● Significant experience presenting complex insurance solutions to advisors and end clients.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● High quality of work standards and attention to detail
● Experience having managed a team of service professionals in accomplishing business unit objectives.
● Strong work ethic, internal motivation, and ability to learn new skills and competencies
