Full-Time Position

We are currently seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to oversee and elevate our dining operations. In this role, you will manage our food and beverage outlets at Wabeek Country Club. Your primary responsibility with be to ensure service excellence and create memorable experiences for our members. This position requires a leader who excels in staff development and maintaining high standards of service.

Wabeek Country Club is a prestigious private golf and social club renowned for its luxurious amenities and exceptional hospitality. Nestled in the heart of Bloomfield Twp, MI, this beautifully renovated club offers members an elevated experience year-round.

• Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually bonus
• Start Date: Immediate start available
• Schedule: ~50 hours per week, with 2 days off per week
• Location: 4000 Clubgate Dr Bloomfield Twp, MI
• Qualifications: 4 years of country club food & beverage experience

Key Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience as a Food and Beverage Manager within the country club industry
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with members, guests, and staff
• Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software
• Strong beverage background with knowledge of operations, service standards, and industry trends
• Certification in food safety and responsible alcohol service (preferred)
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant Tribu, W Café, and Banquets
• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food and beverage licensing requirements
• Coordinate with the culinary team to plan menus and beverage experiences
• Supervise inventory control, menu design, product pricing, and monthly inventory reporting
• Monitor seasonal business volume forecasts to plan accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs, and other expenses
• Manage vendor relationships, place orders, and maintain par levels based on facility needs
• Train, and develop staff, fostering a team-oriented environment that emphasizes growth and mentorship
• Oversee maintenance team and communicate repair and clean-up needs; inspect building and grounds to ensure all equipment is in proper working order
• Be present on the floor during busy meal times, and assist with opening and closing duties for the bar and restaurant
• Build relationships with members and guests to personalize and anticipate service needs
