JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ability to work with supervisor, leads and operators to produce a finished product in compliance with normal and customary procedures, in a safe and efficient manner. Transfer finished goods and scrap from production area to designated staging and storage areas. Must be able to operate computer to input production data.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be knowledgeable of codes and equipment used.
2. Insure the work area assigned is kept clean and in a safe condition.
3. Must know how to operate and maintain equipment.
4. Conduct visual inspection of all crates: insuring they have correct product tickets, weights and proper banding, create these production tickets.
5. Possess forklift certification and operate forklift in a safe manner.
6. Must have working knowledge of computer for the input of production.
7. Crate product.
8. Assist in the training of operators in assigned work area.
9. Make hourly rounds, checking lines to ensure product is within spec.
10. Know QC objectives and performance metrics and adhere to QC system procedures.
11. Any and all other duties as outlined and requested by the immediate supervisor.
12. Education: High School Diploma required.
13. Experience: 1 year PVC manufacturing experience.
