Senior Structural Engineer - Hartsville, SC
Position Overview
As the Senior Structural Engineer, you will report to the Associate Director of Engineering and be responsible for leading the design, planning, and execution of civil and structural engineering projects for industrial facilities. This role includes developing designs, specifications, cost estimates, and overseeing construction management to ensure project goals are met. You will collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders while ensuring compliance with project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop designs, specifications, and cost estimates for civil and structural projects, including facility and heavy industrial equipment foundation design.
- Manage projects and oversee onsite construction to ensure alignment with design and manufacturing requirements.
- Apply technical expertise in structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and wood.
- Perform job site inspections and manage project budgets and schedules.
- Provide leadership and engineering guidance to staff and stakeholders.
- Utilize AutoCAD for drafting and design documentation.
