Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Closer to join our team. The Mortgage Closer will be responsible for preparing and verifying mortgage closing documents in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review loan documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with various parties involved in the closing process, including borrowers, lenders, and title companies
- Prepare closing disclosures and other necessary documentation
- Ensure all closing conditions are met prior to funding
- Conduct final reviews of loan files to confirm all requirements have been satisfied
- Communicate with internal teams to resolve any outstanding issues
Qualifications
- Knowledge of FNMA guidelines and mortgage industry practices
- Familiarity with financial services, credit analysis, loan origination, TILA, underwriting, and mortgage servicing
- Strong mathematical skills including basic math and calculations
- Experience with escrow procedures is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
