Job Title: Entry-Level Mortgage Operations Specialist Job Location: Cincinnati OH 45245 Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: As an Entry-Level Mortgage Operations Specialist, you will assist in the daily operations of the mortgage lending process. You will support the team in processing, closing, and maintaining mortgage loans, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements, and providing excellent customer service throughout the loan lifecycle. The role will also involve collaborating with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure a smooth process from application to loan closing. Key Responsibilities: Loan Processing Support: Assist in gathering, reviewing, and verifying loan documentation (e.g., income statements, credit reports, asset verification, etc.) for mortgage applications. Data Entry and System Updates: Input loan data into the loan origination system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all borrower information. Customer Communication: Assist with customer inquiries related to their loan application, providing status updates and answering basic questions. Compliance and Documentation Review: Ensure that all documents comply with federal and state regulations, company policies, and underwriting guidelines. Coordination with Third Parties: Assist in coordinating with title companies, appraisers, and other third-party vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks related to the loan process. Support Loan Closures: Prepare closing documentation, assist in scheduling closings, and ensure that all final paperwork is accurately completed and delivered. Team Collaboration: Work with the underwriting, processing, and closing teams to ensure smooth communication and workflow throughout the loan process. Problem Resolution: Identify and escalate any potential issues or delays in the loan process to the appropriate team members. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic knowledge of mortgage products, industry terminology, and regulations is helpful but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A customer-focused attitude and willingness to learn.
