Job Overview
Final preparation and inspection before packaging of the product. Also includes performing the duties of the Core Machine Operator as needed.
Responsibilities
Inspects all product at the beginning, during, and end of the process for defects and quality issues.
Using finished cores apply final core wash and inspection before drying and packaging. Makes any adjustments to the cores as needed such as servicing, filing excess sand voids (blowouts), etc.
Provides feedback to previous operations if cores are becoming defective in the previous operations so adjustments can be made by the operators.
Performs duties of the Core Machine Operator as needed.
Works as a team to ensure all cores meet customer specifications with regard to quality.
May assist in other areas of the plant.
Works safely at all times.
Regular attendance and other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
