What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Dentist position at Prime Dental Partners?
General Dentist position available in our locations, Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, Glendale, Queens and Marine Park, Brooklyn.
A General Dentist who is strong in case presentation to patients and does comprehensive treatment planning. Providing appropriate dental treatment including regular cleanings, root canals(simple), surgical extractions, and cosmetic dentistry. Must be comfortable with implant restorations.
If you place implants that would be a plus but not required.
Compensation will be discussed at time of interview.
We do offer a guarantee option.
Days and hours are negotiable, possibility of practicing in ALL locations is an option for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine oral health needs.
- Diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients using Open Dental software.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Fabricate dental appliances as needed for patient care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in using Open Dental or similar dental software is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and procedures.
- Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on creating a comfortable environment for patients.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating strong independent decision-making skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety.

Pay: $700.00 - $10,000.00 per day
