As a Member Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our valued members. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining positive relationships with our members, by assisting them with inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on their dental insurance coverage and benefits.

As a Member Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our valued members. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service and support to our members, ensuring their satisfaction and retention. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining positive relationships with our members, by assisting them with inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on their dental insurance coverage and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, providing exceptional customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
- Act as a liaison between the members and dental providers to address and resolve any service-related issues.
- Educate members on their dental insurance coverage and benefits, explaining any complex information in a clear and simple manner.
- Process member claims and authorize payments according to company policies and procedures.
- Update member records and maintain accurate data in the company's database.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and share best practices for optimal customer service.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in dental insurance policies and procedures to provide accurate and current information to members.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and friendly manner.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- In-depth knowledge of dental insurance policies and procedures is a plus.
