What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Prime Fiber?
PRIME FiBER is hiring for the role of Warehouse Associate this position will be responsible for tracking administrative tasks within a warehouse environment. Coordinates processing of equipment and materials. Ships & receives packages, performs equipment inventory & cycle counts.
Duties
- Coordinates and oversees the inspection, preparation and distribution of customer equipment, including conducting initial inspections, moving and organizing equipment in and out of the warehouse, issuing equipment to field personnel and assisting in inventory reconciliation.
- Handles shipping and receiving responsibilities such as packing and preparing items for shipment, loading and unloading trucks and inspecting and documenting received materials.
- Conducts regular equipment inventory counts and generates and submits appropriate reports.
- Accurately inputs CPE and inventory transactions into appropriate databases, spreadsheets, billing systems and/or information management systems.
- Role may require driving.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s license
- Clean Driving history DMV record check required
- Background Check Required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Exceptional work ethic. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), extended hours, as necessary.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across multiple diverse stakeholders (team, leadership, internal partners, vendors, local governments agencies, and customers, etc.).
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills, excellent communicator, and customer focused.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time and perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, climbing and walking.
- Maintain strict confidentiality guidelines in accordance with company policy.
- Demonstrate dependability through good attendance, punctuality and adherence to timelines and schedules.
