Garage Door Installer/Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented member to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation and maintenance, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires mechanical knowledge, physical stamina, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.

Experience is not required, As we are willing to train the right candidate.

Duties

• Install garage doors, openers, and related hardware according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Fabricate components for custom installations when necessary.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on garage doors and openers.
• Ensure all installations are completed efficiently while maintaining a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet customer expectations.
• Handle heavy lifting of garage door components safely and effectively.
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by troubleshooting issues that arise during installation or maintenance.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical specifications.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the day.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record may be required for transportation to job sites.
• A reliable pick up truck or cargo van (2010 or newer) with no current decals, signs, or damages.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $48,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
