Essential Responsibilities
- Create investment models for the company’s pending property acquisitions and solicit underwriting materials for all such purchases
- Analyze operating performance trends, rent rolls, and revenue projections
- Analyze financial data to ensure income and expense accuracy including the review of Bank Statements, P&Ls, management reports and tax returns
- Collect and summarize market data including the review of competitor pricing and market supply
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal committees
- Attend internal deal team meetings and take notes/actions as needed
- Track pipeline activity and update internal deal databases
- Screen potential acquisitions to ensure they fit our investment criteria
- Work with our deal sourcing teams to provide feedback and projections in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Analytics or related field
- Ideally 0-2 years of experience and demonstrated growth in Finance/Accounting positions
- A self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills, with the ability to follow through and report results in writing and via various Excel-based formats
- Detail oriented
- Team-focused mentality
- Ability to work across many projects with varying levels of oversight
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- A passion for real estate investing
