Position Overview
The Planning & Entitlements Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, zoning, entitlement, and construction phases of our development projects. This role requires a strong background in urban planning, construction management, and real estate development, with a particular focus on Self-Storage, Commercial, and Corporate Interiors sectors. The ideal candidate will have relevant education and experience, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the planning and entitlement processes for development projects.
- Oversee construction management activities from planning to project completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and due diligence to support project planning and development.
- Prepare and submit zoning applications, variances, permits, and other necessary approvals.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and legal teams to ensure project compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Engage with municipal authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to facilitate project approvals and address concerns.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members and project coordinators.
