Responsibilities
The Program Coordinator is responsible for performing various administrative duties. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting department scheduling, payroll, and keeping track of Continuing Medical Education (CME). Provides administrative support for Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) queries and billing reconciliation. Schedules meetings and takes meeting minutes. Is a liaison between hospital leadership, medical director, and hospitalists, communicating policies and procedures and other pertinent information with the hospitalist team.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
2. One (1) year of administrative experience in a healthcare setting, preferred.
3. Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
4. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to compose correspondence.
