Responsibilities
Patient Services Coordinator interviews the patient or representative to obtain identifying information such as, patients name, address, age, date of birth, social security number, occupation, insurance information, and obtaining authorization. This incumbent also services as referral processing, scheduling, and arrangement for payment from patient or guarantor, and provides support for the department. Special projects or other assignments may be given with expectations to be completed in a specific timeframe.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Two years recent hospital customer service experience
2. Effective written and verbal communication skills
3. Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines
4. Analytical and problem-solving skills
