Responsibilities
St. Mary's Medical Center Wound Care is now hiring a per diem day shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our wound care team! The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care services and the duties include, but are not limited to:
- technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care
- meet the communication needs of the patient and family
- performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
- this is a clinic environment with a need of one to three shifts/week
- supports both inpatient and outpatient care
- if you have some or all of the following wound care experience, let's connect: wound vacs, negative pressure wound therapy, ostomy care, etc.
Qualifications
Education and Training
- current and valid Missosuri state LPN license, required
- current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- one year experience in an Acute Care hospital or clinic settting, preferred
- previous wound care experience, preferred
