Responsibilities

Riverview Regional Medical Center (RRMC) is looking for a full time, day shift Operating Room/Surgical Tech!

RRMC wants to hire an OR/Surgical Tech (CST/ST) who is empathetic and has good communication skills. We have a collaborative culture focused on positive outcomes, opportunities for professional growth and so much more. Our OR/Surg Tech duties include but are not limited to:

• responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure
• maintaining sterile field during case
• providing surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures
• able to work well under stressful and emergency situations
• able to act quickly and accurately
• some assistance in sterile processing may be necessary
• 12 hour days 6:15a - 7:00p

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• graduation from an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience in a surgical setting, preferred
• current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
• experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in various surgical specialties (i.e. GYN, Plastics, ENT, Neuro, General, Ortho, Urology and GI)
