Responsibilities
As a RN on our team, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to their assigned patients.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
- Provide a safe environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
- Utilize the chain of command when necessary to ensure patient well-being and appropriateness of care from admission through discharge.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
4. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
5. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
6. Ventilator Management experience preferred.
7. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Resurrection Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $43.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
