Responsibilities
As a Hospitalist at Centinela Hospital Medical Center, you will :
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care to a diverse patient population, including admissions, daily rounding, and discharges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing staff, specialists, and case managers, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage acute medical conditions, oversee continuity of care, and coordinate transitions of care.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver cost-effective, patient-centered care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, demonstrating empathy and cultural sensitivity.
