Responsibilities

The HR Coordinator processes new hire paperwork, background checks, coordinates drug screens and completes the I9 / E-Verify. Will process status changes, term paperwork, promotions, and all other changes and get all appropriate approvals before processing in the HRIS. Maintains licensure and certification reports to maintain compliance with

all federal, state, and regulatory standards. Processes evaluations and keeps personnel records up to date. Assists withhospital recognition programs and assists employees with general Human Resources questions

Position is part-time, 32 hours per week, on-site in Port Huron. Position is responsible for onboarding of new hires, walking new hires through online onboarding process, assisting with employee engagement, HRIS data entry, office administrative tasks and assisting HR Generalists and HR Director with tasks as needed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of Human Resources related experience preferred.

2. Strong interpersonal communication skills required.

3. Strong computer and data entry skills required.

4. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.#LI-SF4
