Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.
St. Joseph Medical Center, located in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking part-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioners to join their hospitalist team. This is a Part-Time position to work weekend days only. Requirement is to work every Saturday and Sunday.
Highlights : Days
12-hour shifts
Saturday and Sunday only
7am-7pm
Collaborate with physician hospitalists
Must be acute care trained
Minimum 2 years' experience required
Hospital Employed

Excellent shift rate
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
- MSN with specialization as an ARNP.
- Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
- BLS upon hire and maintain current.
- One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
- Previous experience with electronic health record
