Our agency is growing and we are adding a Physical Therapist to our team.
JOB SUMMARY: To provide optimal physical therapy care to clients. Observation, evaluation, treating and training, direct therapy procedures and overall development of an individualized therapy program. Demonstrates good problem-solving skills and ability to adapt without difficulty.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience in acute care settings, such as hospitals is preferred.
- Specialized training in trigger point therapy and experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide all therapeutic interventions that require the expertise of a physical therapist.
- Determine the appropriate use of physical therapist assistants or physical therapy aides.
- Manage all aspects of physical therapy services provided to the patient and assume legal liability for physical therapy and related services provided under your supervision.
- Provide initial evaluation and documentation of the evaluation.
- Provide periodic reevaluation and documentation of the reevaluation.
- Provide documentation for discharge; including the patients response to therapeutic intervention at the time of discharge.
- Accurately billing and documentation for services provided.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary : $50 - $53
