Your Impact
The Multi-unit Restaurant Accountant will play a crucial role in driving financial success and operational efficiency across our diverse portfolio of restaurant locations. By assisting the Controller in maintaining the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, the restaurant accountant will ensure compliance with internal controls and safeguard assets. This role involves maintaining the general ledger, conducting necessary analysis to ensure accurate reporting, reviewing accounts payable disbursements, and ensuring correct accounting of payments. The Restaurant Accountant will also assist external auditors, contribute to state and local tax filings, stay up-to-date on accounting standards, and possess a strong understanding of accounting technology.
Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing, with accuracy and timeliness, all accounting functions for our entities
- Work in conjunction with the Controller performing bank reconciliations, managing accounts payable and processing timely payments for our restaurants
- Reconcile daily sales summary and daily collections
- Support our operators via restaurant systems reporting and ticketing system
- Work in conjunction with the payroll department on the biweekly payroll process
- Utilize Restaurant365 in month-end close management, reconciliation, and analysis
