AM/PM Server Full and Part-Time Available
Job Description:
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Servers to join our team. Are you a professional, but don’t like late nights? Have you been searching for a real team environment? I was in that boat before Prime Independent Living, and we as a team are looking to change everyone’s mind of what dining in a senior living community can be! The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be the face of our dining room and play a key role in ensuring that our residents have a memorable dining experience. We are a restaurant in a senior living community, so love for seniors is a must! AM and PM shifts are available, full and part-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly upon arrival.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders with the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages to residents and guests in a timely manner.
- Ensure residents and guests’ satisfaction by checking on them regularly, anticipating their needs, and addressing any issues or requests.
- Clear and reset tables for incoming residents and guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, ensuring tables, chairs, and floors are tidy.
- Handle guest payments, when necessary, including processing credit cards
- Always follow food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and to resolve any issues.
- Stay informed on dining policies and services to provide accurate information to residents and guests.
- Assist with side duties, including stocking utensils, glasses, and other supplies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift and carry trays, dishes, and other items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Food Handlers Certification is required within 30 days of employment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
