Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction disciplines and will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage teams and resources.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases of construction.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify any issues or delays.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop project plans and budgets.
- Ensure proper materials are ordered and available on-site for ongoing work.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, reports, and documentation.
- Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the construction process, including clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
- Proficiency in skills such as concrete finishing, tile laying, drywall installation, metal stud framing, roofing, hardscape installation, and heavy equipment operation.
- Experience with construction estimating is preferred.
- Excellent leadership abilities with strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage diverse teams.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
