Job Description:
As the first hire at our millwork company, you’ll have a hands-on role in both fabrication and installation. You’ll work closely with the founders to ensure that our projects are completed to the highest standard, from creating custom pieces to ensuring they’re expertly installed at client sites. This position requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to step in wherever needed to keep the business running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate custom woodwork and millwork pieces, ensuring quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Assist with the installation of millwork products at job sites, ensuring that installations are completed to specifications and within project timelines.
- Work closely with the founders to manage and prioritize projects, meeting deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Adapt to an ever-changing schedule, handling a variety of tasks as needed, from production to client interactions.
- Help develop processes and systems for fabricating and installing products as the company grows.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition.
- Provide support in other areas of the business, including administrative tasks, customer service, and marketing, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in millwork fabrication and installation (or related trade) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of woodwork and construction techniques, with attention to detail in both fabrication and installation is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work long hours and adjust to a flexible, changing schedule.
- Comfortable working on a variety of tasks as the company evolves, including administrative duties and customer-facing roles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with both the internal team and external partners.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to step in wherever needed.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a millwork or construction environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 80 per week
