Key Responsibilities
- Verify client identity and review medical staff orders before beginning x-ray procedures.
- Provide verbal and written instructions to clients.
- Correctly position clients for radiography, which may involve lifting and moving patients with limited mobility.
- Adjust imaging equipment to specified positions.
- Ensure high-quality x-rays to prevent repeat procedures.
- Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure their safety and comfort during scans.
- Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to yourself and clients.
- Maintain radiology supplies inventory and order replacements as needed.
