What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruitment Assistant position at Prime Ocean?
The Recruitment Assistant is an entry level role that plays an integral role in Prime Ocean’s core focus to supply high quality, reliable, and compliant candidates to our clients.
The role works a hybrid schedule with 3 days in The Woodlands, TX based office each week and 2 days working from home. 730am to 430pm, Monday to Thursday and 730am to 1pm on Fridays.
1. Responsible for searching for quality candidates that match our client’s requirements using various methods such as monitoring online job boards, creating job advertisements, and following up on referral candidates.
2. Conduct candidate telephone screenings and gather, verify, and file candidate training credentials, meeting face to face with the candidates when required.
3. Perform reference checks on candidates.
4. Updating internal database to reflect current candidate information.
5. Assist in ensuring the completion of onboarding paperwork for selected candidates.
6. Preparation of candidate information for submission to clients.
7. Facilitate with crew credential or endorsement administration and book training courses for candidates where necessary.
8. Attend client meetings as required by management.
9. Assist in the processing of and following up on timesheets for payroll.
10. General office duties – answering phones, correspondence, taking messages, etc.
11. Work flexible schedule when the business requires to assist with outstanding requirements.
12. Other responsibilities as assigned by management to the efficient running of the business.
Strong attention to detail, intermediate computer skills (MS Suite), excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
