Summary:
Key Account Managers role is pivotal in driving new customer development and securing the growth of our organization. We seek an experienced, self-motivated, and results-driven professional with strong sales skills. Key responsibilities include identifying and cultivating new customer relationships, securing new business contracts, expanding POC into new markets, and leading commercial negotiations with buyers as necessary.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with decision makers at assigned current and potential customers
- Calculates customer quotes.
- Negotiates and closes sales agreements by defining terms and conditions.
- Keeps current with new products, horizontal and vertical market trends,
- supporting technologies and competitive intelligence.
- Works with management and technical team on customer requirements
- Identify innovation trends and create sales strategies.
Requirments:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related field preferred
- Experience in automotive manufacturing and sales.
- Proven ability to develop and successfully execute business development and sales strategies
- Advanced verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including group presentation for large and small groups made up of project teams, management, and customers
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, sales representatives, managers, employees, and the public.
- You must have 3-5 years of experience in the machine build industry with 2 years in sales and marketing related activities.
- Travel (15-45%) to customers facilities to maintain and improve customer relations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Teams.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales a must.
