Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively in various painting tasks.
- Perform masonry work as needed to prepare surfaces for painting.
- Conduct construction estimating to determine material needs and project timelines.
- Execute concrete finishing techniques when required for specific projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of each project.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Painter in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of construction painting techniques and materials.
- Familiarity with stucco application processes is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently.
- Experience with concrete finishing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
