About Us

We are a leading company in commercial construction installation of low voltage systems, committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Controller with strong financial acumen to oversee our accounting operations. Candidates with experience in construction accounting will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage job costing, WIP reporting, and financial analysis for ongoing projects.
• Supervise the accounting team, including AP/AR, payroll, and financial statements.
• Develop and implement financial controls and processes to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership to support business strategy and financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong preference for candidates from the construction industry.
• Knowledge of job costing, WIP schedules, and AIA billing.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, QuickBooks, Viewpoint).
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
